Back to school bible verses are a must for every student and teacher returning to the classroom this year!
As we approach the new school year, all the familiar feels of excitement and anticipation have been hijacked by the uncertainty of our ever changing circumstances due to the coronavirus. Praise God that His Word never changes and never fails!
What Does Back to School Look Like This Year?
Our usual back to school fun and excitement have been replaced with choices that we have never had to make. It has been riddled with uncertainty, anxiety, sadness, and yes, even some fear.
So many unknowns.
Far too many questions without answers.
My family, along with every other family, teacher and administrator are having to make decisions that quite honestly just hurt our hearts to make.
We are having to make decisions without all of the information. For me, that makes the knots in my stomach tighten.
I was telling a friend the other day that it feels like I’m trying to put together a gigantic jigsaw puzzle without the majority of the pieces or even the box cover.
But, there are two things that bring me comfort:
- I know that I’m not alone! Not only am I in this with every other family, teacher and school administrator, but I know that the Lord is ever present. This is not a surprise to Him.
- God is always there, ready to listen in prayer. COVID has obviously brought us all to our knees. We are all in a very common, collective place, that is so much bigger than ourselves. We have been humbled across the globe. Prayer has always been paramount in my life but I find myself praying for people and praying for circumstances that I have never prayed for before.
With school on the horizon for so many of us, I would ask that you take some time to truly approach God’s throne and intercede on behalf of all students, parents, administrators, teachers and elected officials, who are having to make decisions that feel almost impossible over the coming weeks.
